With a diverse career spanning multiple industries, Nyrissa has made significant contributions to some of the most renowned organisations including Macquarie Bank, IAG, Wesfarmers Insurance, Qantas and Coca-Cola. These roles have involved leading projects and navigating challenging yet rewarding experiences, fostering a passion for enhancing productivity and helping others achieve their best.

A highlight of Nyrissa’s career includes being awarded the Coles Insurance Leadership award during a successful scale up and business growth, and similarly so at Macquarie Group during unprecedented business changes and challenges enabling successful workforce alignment. Demonstrating expertise in consulting, she worked with a boutique consulting company before being scouted to operate independantly to lead a pivotal people and culture appointed role in QBE's acquisition of Elders Insurance.

At Macquarie Bank, Nyrissa and the team were recognised for their agility and innovative approach, earning the title of “Best Agile Place to Work” at the World Agility Forum Awards in addition to also obtaining two awards including platinum for performance support. Additional awards include best induction programs at Deloitte and Coaching blended programs at Qantas, to name a few.

Prior to starting Thrive & Lead Consulting, Nyrissa served as the Head of People and Culture at MLC School, a leading independent school in Western Sydney, where she continued to inspire and lead with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Nyrissa’s educational background includes Project Management, E-Learning, Training and Assessment and a Science degree majoring in Psychology, amongst others. She is also pursuing ongoing certifications in Coaching and AI.
